This red is a mistress that has me coming back for more, I've guzzled cases of the stuff, ridiculous amounts.
I've aerated this too with me Vinturi Aerator that fits neatly in to my big "air-to-wine-surface-ratio" decanter.
This red is truly an all rounder, especially for those who do not drink red very often or at all. I don't think I've ever eaten with this either, actually, I might have had some fish and chips with a bottle once. Yummy!!!!!!!
But why so many bottles one ponders?
Well, it is not one of those reds where you feel like you have a mouth full of blood and sawdust, as in, shit sticks to the inside of your mouth and fucking stays there.
It goes down smoothly.
It also doesn't give you that watery gag reflex you get with the after taste of some Syrahs'. Yucky Syrahs'!
Also the drunk is good and it is very easy to tap out two bottles and attempt the third on empty as guts.
Definitely a favourite and at 14.5% ticks ya nipps.
